One Magnificent Woman

I was blessed today to meet a magnificent woman, Dr. Temple Grandin, who gave a sold-out presentation at Lake Land College on the topic of autism.  I purchased one of her books, “Animals Make Us Human,” and can hardly wait to dig into it.  Dr. Grandin signed her book and took time to engage in a one-on-one conversation with me.  She is a most gracious lady, full of energy and ideas, and I wish I could have the privilege of sitting down with her someday for another, lengthier conversation about her fascinating life.  I’m sure I could learn a lot of things from her.
